The world bank recently revealed a report showing that there are four
ministries in the current Cambodian government conducted corruption
in four projects and asked for the returning fund of $7.6M.
PM Hun Sen rejected the report very seriously and accused some member of the opposite party for supporting when the report is not
clear true or not.
The question arise when the government took out national budget of $1.7M to refund the world bank.
Why did the government take national budget refunded to the world bank?
Shouldn't the government set up investigation team and find out who have cheated the funds? Or the corrupted people are member of his (Hun Sen) gang?
It is so so unfair to Khmer people in this generation and the next one and the next one because we are born with dept.
The problem in Cambodia now is that there are not many people raise questions and if someone does, he/she will be eliminated, scared, or imprisoned.
If this kind of customs keep on occurring in Khmer society, there is no way the development reach prosperity. |
